WorldCupOverTrackAndFieldComes

Now the stoopid world cup is over when my argentina went out, I hope to be a fan of HCI.. Their finals is next wednesday. I should try to go down to support if I haven started on my contractual work on 8-bit microcontrollers.

It’s been a while since records were broken. Foo!

As usual

Life is normal. As usual.

Other than a couple of accidental losses of rocks throwing. Pure stupidity here.

Life is just as usual.

Dreaming of my next trip, again.

Electrico

Posted by jipi Sun, 28 May 2006 14:40:00 GMT

Hmm.. although this is an old photo.. I still think it is worth mentioning. As they are going to release their new album. Electrico! This photo has all of them inside. It was taken during last year’s baybeats. (If I remember correctly)

Next time, I’m going to talk a bit about this band which I got to know of. Quite interesintg story.

Ok, I’m not going to wait until next time.

They started off with a 4 person-band.. playing in some container for some church thingy.. and they were called Electric Company. And there was Livonia which had Daniel as the guitarist. While both bands faded into obsolence, they got the chance to regroup, and came the new Electrico.

From Left to Right,

Daniel, Amanda, David, William, Desmond. Pure breed Singaporeans.

Flapping Corolla

Posted by jipi Mon, 15 May 2006 03:14:00 GMT

This car deserves some mention as we had a great time trying to ask it to “go”

it seemed reluctant to leave its owners and had some time trying to tell us by refusing to move.

in the end, some cleaning up and sprucing up did the job (and also some change of shoes), and it left happily. If there is a next owner, he or she must love it very much.

如果可以

Posted by soapwater16 Wed, 10 May 2006 14:24:00 GMT

Elections Fever Over!

Posted by jipi Mon, 08 May 2006 05:28:45 GMT

Now that elections fever is over I shall concentrate on

  1. getting cubicbottle to record.
  2. getting digital signage up.

Thanks to Yawning Bread again for the alternative coverage of elections news.

Fixed

No matter How I think about that remark made by our PM Lee Hsien Loong, I am still disappointed. He is someone who has brushed the face of death. He should already understand things about life. About being magnaminous. about many things which I will say, “Hey, that echoes in my heart!”

That message, being self-centred and childish (to a certain extent) sounds like some old bob trying to complain about being in politics. If you want to complain, then get yourself out, be like us, and complain.

TOo bad I am no longer living in AMK.

SG Elections 2006

Posted by jipi Tue, 02 May 2006 06:22:00 GMT

In this life, I’d concentrate on building a good foundation for my future ones, if there are any. However, I still think I need to contribute by saying some words which I want to say. Some people have already said those words, and I shall say that those words do mean something to me who does not have a chance to vote.

Look here really.

http://sgrally.blogspot.com

Af first, my friend showed me the website, and I was shocked. I should have been there. Being 30 years in a tiny country and have actually missed it.

Then there is the commentary from Yawning Bread..

http://www.yawningbread.org

this really touches my heart. especially the part where yawning bread describes the person was crying.

Thanks Yawning Bread for bringing the commentary to us.
