Shopping for the dead

For some strange reason, i chanced upon an undertaker shop. Secretly tucked away in one corner of hougang ave 3. Super interesting. I bet not many people know that this shop even existed! Stacks of coffins wrapped in newspapers and stretchers placed standing against the old tiled walls. This shop is definitely meant only for the dead. At this moment, i can only think of one thing. May all the dead (be it human or dog) rest in peace. God bless you. 阿弥陀佛

my next-door-neighbour grandma passed away yesterday. It was a dramatic afternoon and everything happened while I was nursing my aching tooth extraction. She was very old and had been sick for a long time.

Sometimes, relief does come in the form of death.

I think I’m really brave.

Despite the fact that it had been an intimate part of me for the past decade or that unexplainable fear of needles, I’m going to remove you from my life. “Enough of the pain and troubles you’ve caused!” For I know that after all the sweat and blood, comes a better and happier me. It’s so me.

I need a break! It’s been far too long since my last trip. For the past year, it has just been work. If i can spoil myself once again, i would like to go for another 1 year break. phew.. Damn.

Im stuck. In a constipated kind of way.

I figured i should always continue to put stuff in here and not let my evil work control my life.

It’s been a while since i blogged. It’s just that my lousy job is taking all my energy away from the things i like to do. I missed those jamming and late-night pratas sessions. Let’s do this sometime again soon.

Singapore fever at its hottest since 1980s ~ 90s. The last game our dear Kallang Stadium will host before disappearing as one of our iconic landmark. The crap talking about conserving our Singaporean heritage. First the old national library, then the old national museum, then this? There has to be a way to synthesize the old and the new. Then again, our focus is now only the IR isnt it?

Of course, all i can do is to support her last game. At the same time, supporting our LIONS too.

My only paternal aunt passed on last weekend. We really havent been close so things are cool. The thought of her as the last closest member in my father’s nuclear family does have a little effect though.
