Had a great dinner with jp’s friends. Interesting people. Interesting conversations and views.
Well, i wondered if it was the beer, mutton, Mala hotpot or the F@#* up traffic of beijing. What a booboo i made! On the otherhand, i kinda liked the idea of leaving my crap near the walls of the forbidden city. HAH. Extremely touched by my favourite guitarist who helped take care of merlion through the night.
phew.

firebox: 24-bit/96K firewire
U95S tube mike
nEar05 monitor
PCMCIA to firewire card
We bought some cool MIC recording stuff. Although buying stuff is fun, the entire shopping experience is less than great. When those people at the shop found out that we were from the sunny island of singpore, i swear i could almost hear “dollar KIK CHINGGGs” in my ears. They kept claiming that they wont earn any profits from us cos we are from singapore. And even told other shop owners that. Like hell i believe. These people are not notorious in the entire globe for nothing. Of course, we did our homework beforehand, the cost of some of the things were expectantly higher. If we had the luxury of time, i wouldnt allow us to be regarded as suckers and taken for a ride.
I feel ashamed to belong to the same genetic pool as these human beings. Even if it’s a remote 1000000 years back. Will try not to contribute to the dishonest thriving economy giant if i can.
Same blood? My foot.

My left lower wisdom tooth is exploding its way out from my lower jaw. It has become worse in the -9 degrees beijing polluted air. For the first time, Im saying no thanks to wisdom.
Ouch!

** While we were causually strolling around Shuangjingstreet, a giant poster placed outside a lonely shop suddenly caught my eye. Well, the poster lady was not particularly too pretty or anything (in my personial opinion), it was the captions splashed on it in bold that caught my attention.
“Queen of Singapore POP”, it says. !! Well, she’s defintely not Stephanie Sun, or Tanya Chua or even anything remotely near. Too bad we couldnt even recognise her.
What a pity. Cos we had already forgotten her name.
And someone commented that she looked similar to cheer chen in one of cheer’s poster… cow.
