问题是需要时间和空间才能解决的

大多数的时候还是要用心去探索问题的根

发现了问题的根之后
若能够 come up with a 解决问题的方案
这样的结果会非常令人满意的

在这样的过程中
通常我们也会认为解决某些问题可以运用一些 tried and tested methods
这些 methods somehow, sometimes can be crystallized to become a formula or an equation.

How do we really convert the experiences into y = bx + x2 or something simpler?
Example 1. How do we convert a situation such as socially, girls and guys are having less chances to meet or less chances of success of meeting and making friends despite having a more stable economy (who defines a stable economy anyway), a higher population density, and better looking and well-groomed versions of themselves compared to yesteryear versions?

Let me break the sentence up for better understanding.

O – socially, girls and guys are having less success in meeting and becoming friends.
X – the economy is more stable
Y – the population density is higher
Z – the girls and guys are better looking and are groomed better than their parents’ generation.

By looking at this little hypothesis, we already know that the answer does not lie in this simple equation

O = X + Y + Z

because we know that external factors as well as other factors might come in to disrupt the equation

so

O = X + Y + Z + α + β

where α are external factors
and β are other factors

If O is 0, it means that we’ve reached a point where we are equal to the past. Or there is no change.
if O is < 0, it means that girls and guys are having better success in meeting and becoming friends
and conversely for O > 0.
